May Book Giveaway! Sunkissed by Elissa Kerr

May’s giveaway book is Sunkissed by Elissa Kerr. This is another story that could be on Miss Mary's good-story shelf! Sunkissed tells about a girl planting sunflowers and tending them through the summer. As the back of the book says, "Celebrating the special bond between a mother and daughter, this story shows readers what plants need to thrive and grow." With sweet illustrations and short, rhyming text, this is a story that is fitting for this month when we celebrate mothers and are (hopefully) enjoying the May flowers that the April showers have brought.
