December Giveaways!

Are you ready to hear about the December giveaways? As I said in my November newsletter, I am doing TWO giveaways this month. Such fun!

The first giveaway is a copy of Restoring Christmas by Cynthia Ruchti. This isn't a children's book; it is a novel for grownups. But I think it connects well with Miss Mary. It is the story of Alexis, an ambitious interior designer, working with elderly Elsie to fix up her old farmhouse in Algoma, Wisconsin with hopes of being chosen to appear in the Restoring Christmas tv show. Like Miss Mary at the start of Miss Mary: A Tale of Old County Clare, Elsie is strong and capable - she takes care of her chickens by herself and doesn't have an indoor bathroom! Elsie has also spent a good part of her life caring for someone else. Through the story, along with a generally optimistic videographer, family secrets, a broken elbow and some tasty food, both Alexis and Elsie have things to learn...including some things about love. I hope you enjoy this story like I have!

The second giveaway is of the soft and cuddly variety. One of Sir Valentine's (Miss Mary's dog for

anyone who doesn't know) little Old English Sheepdog buddies could be sent your way!

To be eligible to win the giveaway, subscribe to the Miss Mary newsletter by 11:59pm CST on the deadline date (December 17, 2022) and have an address within the United States to which the giveaway items can be mailed. The winner of each item will be randomly selected and notified via email on the first weekday after the deadline date (December 19, 2022). The winner's first name (and possibly last initial) will also be mentioned in the special Christmas edition of Kristen Hardin's newsletter. If the winner has not responded to the notification email by 11:59pm CST on December 21, 2022, a new winner may be randomly selected.

Don't forget to share this opportunity with friends who might enjoy the Miss Mary newsletter and the giveaway!
